Europe’s largest implementation of handheld units and service is supplied by Consafe Logistics

Market leaderDB Schenker in Sweden and their fully owned subsidiary Schenker Privpak wanted to improve work efficiency in the field.

They therefore began a dialogue with Consafe Logistics – a dialogue ending up in Europe’s largest implementation of Motorola MC75 and complementing services at this point.

Schenker_logoThe solution will be used differently by the two companies. DB Schenker Sweden uses the solution in their carriers for electronically registration of flow of goods and packages. Schenker Privpak that delivers to private consumers using a concept with local distributors uses their solution to register goods arrival and dispatch, from the distributors located in Sweden and Norway.

Deliveries are made from our service centre in Lund , where we handle; unpacking, labelling, SIM- card handling, memory cards, service portal/web services, softwareloading, test of communication and delivery to the customers sites. Service, support and delivery of replacements units through pool agreement, makes the system run smoothly.
