EurimPharm Is Extending Its Intra-logistics With TGW

German customer EurimPharm Arzneimittel GmbH entrusted TGW Systems Integration GmbH with the modernisation of its distribution centre.

EurimPharm Arzneimittel GmbH headquartered in Piding (Bavaria) was founded in 1975 and is Germany's pioneer of pharmaceuticals import, thus being the first German supplier of well-priced imported pharmaceuticals.

Germany's second largest pharmaceuticals is now extending its entire logistics until May 2010. TGW Systems Integration will modernise the existing radio controlled warehouse at EurimPharm's Saaldorf-Surheim site. Besides, the order picking area will be extended by a conveyor system with Pick-by-Light function.

The modernisation and extension activities will also involve the implementation of a high availability server which ensures the system's functional reliability and safety and the new version of TGW Systems Integration's warehouse management and material flow control software CI_LOG.
