The 2012 WMS Participant Meeting is Getting Closer
24.09.2012
On 11 October 2012, the world of warehouse management systems will once again be the focus at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics.
”At Home Around the World” is the slogan for this year’s participant meeting held by Team warehouse logistics, which will take place from 9:00 to 17:00 at the conference hall at Fraunhofer IML in Dortmund. The event gives the participants of the WMS Database the exclusive opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the world of WMS and ask questions on the topic.
This year Team warehouse logistics has come up with a very special item in the program: the World Café. Participants will have the chance to discuss seven different logistics-related topics at seven different tables. Three workshop phases will give participants the opportunity to bring their own ideas and knowledge to the discussions and learn about concepts and perspectives from the other participants. “The WMS from the cloud”, “The challenges of going live”, or the question “What will be the warehouse of the future?” are just some examples of the topics that will be on the agenda of the World Café. In addition to this new special item, members of Team warehouse logistics will give presentations and our Italian and Dutch cooperation partners will report on the latest developments in the WMS markets in their regions.
Even though we are offering a full program, the opportunity for networking will still be there: During both lunch and a coffee break participants will be able to mingle and talk to each other about the latest developments in the industry and share their own experiences and opinions. Members of Team warehouse logistics will be available throughout the entire event to answer any questions you may have on the topic of WMS.
The event is free for all participants of the WMS Database.
