Team warehouse logistics invites participants to attend the 2013 Participants Meeting at the Fraunhofer IML in Dortmund

The annual meeting for the participants of the largest database in the world for warehouse management systems will be held on 15 October 2013 in Dortmund. The slogan for the meeting this year is “On the road to success with warehouse logistics”.
The online platform is still being developed thirteen years after it was founded: With the expansion of its international services and the inclusion of WMS reference projects team warehouse logistics is once again on the road to success with their customers.
The World Café was such a success at the meeting last year that it will be back again this year to give participants the chance to discuss topics and exchange ideas and information with each other. “Networking is very important for our customers. Our participants meeting is the perfect location for analysing the trends and developments in the WMS market because every guest is an expert.” Detlef Spee, Head of the Department of Intralogistics and IT Planning is already looking forward to the meeting. Team warehouse logistics will also present information about the latest developments and answer questions on the topic of warehouse management systems.
During a break for coffee and cake, the participants will also get to talk directly to the other participants as well as members of team warehouse logistics about the new developments in the industry, exchange ideas and opinions, and make new contacts.
Participants who have attended past meetings found them to be very beneficial. Michael Baranowski, Managing Director of TEAM GmbH in Paderborn, praised the “excellent opportunity to reflect on the developments in the WMS market with other members of the community” at the conclusion of last year’s meeting. S&P CEO Horst Reichert made it clear that he really enjoyed the “relaxed atmosphere and the discussions at the World Café”. Jochen Fuhrmann, from AEB GmbH, was happy about the “new contacts, innovative ideas, and the confirmation that his company was on the right path”.
The participants meeting will take place on Tuesday, 15 October 2013 from 9:00 to 17:00 at the conference hall of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML in Dortmund. The event is free for participants of the WMS Database.
