PSI Presents Artificial Intelligence for Industry and Integrated Software Scenarios.

Production and Logistics at the Hanover Trade Fair. Practical examples from electrical vehicle production at e.GO Mobile and industrial intelligence

PSI Group will be presenting integrated industrial software solution scenarios in the fields of production, logistics, service and asset management at the Hanover Trade Fair from 23 till 27 April 2018 in hall 7, stand A24. By means of the practical example of e.GO Mobile AG, the integrated production and logistics process will be demonstrated live at the stand. Industrial applications of numerous artificial intelligence (AI) methods on the basis of the Java-based PSI framework will round out the trade fair presentation.

Along with classical enterprise resource planning (PSIpenta/ERP), the completely integrated components for worker support at the work stations, production technology and equipment, status display and visualisation as well as workflow-based process control are used at the e.GO Mobile AG. The software solution is rounded out by the integration of the transport systems, Just-in-Time/Just-in-Sequence provision of materials (e-Kanban) and warehouse management. The functions of maintenance management are the focus in the service and asset management, whereby the optimisation of the order processing will be demonstrated with the aid of the Qualicision application.

On the basis of the Java-based PSI framework, PSI will present AI solutions that have been successfully used industrially for years. Amongst these are practical examples of optical tyre inspection, optimisation of traffic flow, suitcase tracking at airports, forecasting of energy requirements for pricing and the energy feeding of renewable energies as well as optimisation in depot management. With the Java-based PSI framework for bundling various AI technologies such as convolutional neural network, extended fuzzy logic, operations research and analytic methods new applications can be comprehensively modelled in an environment. In this manner PSI offers the competence for adequate application of the specific AI methods for the optimisation of the customer‘s processes.

As a fair novelty the DeepQualicision application will be demonstrated as a combination of learning with artificial neuronal networks and extended fuzzy logic Qualicision. Self-learning optimisation parameters that allow for the optimised settings with regard to the customer’s targets and parameters can be calculated with DeepQualicision. Multi-criteria decision-support solutions as well as optimised production control and process automation, also in the MES environment, will be demonstrated with the optimisation software Qualicision. Amongst others the primary tasks of planning and control processes in the automobile industry are solved with Qualicision. Simulations and optimisations in production planning, in strategic budget and capacity planning as well as personnel planning in operations are examples of additional fields of application. Qualicision is, as optimisation logic, an integral component of may PSI software solutions.
