KNAPP presents smart innovations at 34th BVL Logistik Dialog event

26.03.2018

On April 12–13, 2018, KNAPP will present intelligent solutions for production logistics at the 34th BVL Logistik Dialog event in Vösendorf, near Vienna. The systems of Logistics 4.0 are fully networked and offer a secure, efficient and stable platform in a dynamic market environment.

They have sufficient flexibility and capacity at their disposal, as well as error-free logistics processes. KNAPP’s smart technologies are setting new standards. At the 34th Logistik Dialog event, KNAPP will present its broad solution portfolio for the smart warehouse and smart factory. Gerald Hofer, CEO of KNAPP AG will then give a highly anticipated keynote speech »Artificial intelligence requires both humans and infrastructure«.

Live: ivii.smartdesk and a digital assistant for warehouse management

Visitors at the Logistik Dialog event will have the chance to experience services such as KNAPP’s digital assistant at first hand. The smart helper filters data for relevant information and displays it adapted to the user at precisely the right time, in the right quality and on the right terminal. Data is taken from all software modules, from the warehouse management system to the machine control systems in order to bring transparency to operation and maintenance.

At the 34th Logistik Dialog event, KNAPP will also present the intelligent feedback system ivii.smartdesk, developed by the image recognition and image processing experts within the KNAPP group ivii.gmbh. The ivii.smartdesk supports the employee during the assembly process, for example, with real-time verification, making error-free production a reality. KiSoft, KNAPP’s logistics software, guarantees optimal system integration. The software programme manages all processes from goods-in to goods-out, and makes warehouse applications like the digital assistant possible in the first place. During his keynote speech, Gerald Hofer will discuss the challenges posed by artificial intelligence for humans and infrastructure.
