In the past years there has been a considerable slowing-down in world markets in all sectors. In the same period, Beta 80 Group has increased its speed of growth, gaining new customers and maintaining unchanged the value of its orders. A taste for hard work, its solid administration and a judicious use of resources created relationships with clients and professional partners that were based on esteem and confidence. This aim, as well as others, has been reached by following a path with a specific criterion: throughout the whole of Beta 80 Group's history, the wealth produced has been entirely reinvested in the company; this has led to the development of precise business lines and the planning of well-targeted acquisitions of external companies on the one hand, while on the other, it has enabled the company to form its own, special business culture, centred above all on the value of the individual and his or her activity.

History

Beta 80 Group's corporate history can be divided into precise stages.

  • 1986: with the aim of realizing a common professional project, Alfredo Lovati and Paolo Testi were among the new graduates from Milan Polytechnic who founded Beta 80 Srl. The company initially operated in the application development and integrated logistics sectors
  • 1992 - 1994: the first big projects. The 118 Operations Centres in Como and Sondrio were created in
  • 1992, based on emma - emergency management - proprietary technology. In 1994, the proprietary software for automatic warehouses, later named Stockager®, was released onto the market
  • 1995: Beta 80 changed into a joint-stock company
  • 2000: alongside Beta 80 SpA, Betanet Srl was founded, with a mandate to develop the supply in the ICT consulting sector
  • 2002: Beta 80 Group Srl holding company was set up. Constant growth results led to a structured layout being designed and control activities being concentrated
  • 2005: Betaware Srl was founded, with the aim of giving greater visibility to ICT Management products, in particular for Selective Outsourcing and Monitoring systems with 24h manning
  • 2008: a company branch was acquired from Agusta Westland SpA. The transaction consolidated the leading position in Italy for the emma - emergency management - platform, in developing the 118 Accident and Emergency Operations Centres
  • 2012: Beta 8.0 Technology was founded in Benevento, with a twofold aim of developing emergency management offering for Health System and Civil Protection, and becoming a reference point for document management issues and archival science
  • 2013: Beta 80 do Brasil was founded in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The new company, totally owned by Beta 80 Group, is the first one outside Europe, therfore setting company's development at a worldwide level. Beta 80 do Brasil brings in South America's market Beta 80 Group's proprietary technology, those dediated to Emergency Management and Logistic, Transportation and Mobility environments

Description

Stockager® is Beta 80 Group's proprietary Warehouse Management System. With more than 100 installations in Italy and throughout the world, and with the possibility of configuring warehouses of 5 to over 250 users, Stockager® is the Warehouse Management System leader for managing warehouse in the best possible way. Stockager® can be integrated with Beta 80 Group's Transportaton Management System solutions and with the most common ERP systems on the market.

STOCKAGER® - Via web, in all languages.

Stockager® is the Warehouse Management System developed to manage warehouses - both individual ones and those distributed over the country. It can be adapted to any storage layout and accompany its evolutions over time. Stockager® is a Warehouse Management System completely web-based: the platform can be accessed with a simple browser. New operator workstations or new websites can easily be integrated into the system, without installing dedicated software on the PC. Stockager® is a native speaker of many languages and has a specific support for oriental languages.

STOCKAGER® - System with radiofrequency

Stockager® has a radiofrequency module in which all the product and warehouse management functions are present. In real time, Stockager® checks stocks and guides the operator in all the product loading, preparation or processing phases, right up to the composition of the shipping means.

STOCKAGER® - RFID, voice, pick to light, pick&pack

Stockager® can use RFID technology. It has an optional module for voice terminals that allows the operator to guide the system by voice and work with hands free. A light picking function is also available, to guide the relative operations or for sorting. Stockager® optimizes picking and lowering paths from stock to collection points and can be configured for defining groupage.

STOCKAGER® - Real time and statistics

Stockager® has information available in real time regarding quantities, locations, conditions and past history of each individual item present in the warehouse; it supports annual and rolling inventories. Stockager® has an integrated module available for production of highly detailed handling statistics.

STOCKAGER® - Planning, dashboards and KPIs

Time forecasts can be calculated on the basis of the workload present in the system. This allows accurate planning of the staff needed. Suitable dashboards supply an overall view of the KPIs to be checked.
