PROLAG®World’s new product packages and Web configurator – see for yourself at transport logistic!
Flexible, standardised, professional and modular - PROLAG®World continues to impress again this year. Intralogistics experts CIM GmbH Logistik-Systeme will be exhibiting at transport logistic 2013 in Munich, where they will present their new product structure and the new PROLAG®World configurator. Visitors will be able to access the conf igurator to “click together ” their own version of the Warehouse Management software.
transport logistic is opening its doors again at the Munich Trade Fair Centre from June 4 – 7. CIM GmbH from Bavaria in Germany, a leading supplier of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with almost 30 years’ experience in the field of intralogistics, will be presenting their very own, browser-based WMS, PROLAG®World.
This year, CIM is focussing on meeting the demand for a standard yet customised software solution. With its new product packages, PROLAG®World caters perfectly to the requirements of diverse logistics sectors. The new product structure comprises product, industry, service and comfort packages.
Five new PROLAG®World products
The five new PROLAG®World products are based on the highly distinct requirements of the trade and retail, production, 3PL and healthcare sectors. PROLAG®World Basic represents the basic cross-sector package with all the functions required for efficient and modern warehouse management. PROLAG®World Trade & Retail is the extended basic package designed to meet the special requirements of the trade and retail sectors. It guarantees smooth, bundled and on-time delivery of items from manufacturers and e-commerce providers to vendors and end customers. The extended basic package for the production sector is PROLAG®World Production. It controls the flow of goods for production supply and manufacturing, whilst PROLAG®World HealthCare provides a comprehensive solution for the healthcare sector. This includes functions forward management, multiple site administration, recipe management and for ensuring that hospitals are reliably supplied with medicines at all times. The extended basic package PROLAG®World 3PL (third-party logistics) integrates modules such as block storage, stacking capacity, client capability, site administration and warehouse billing.
Product extensions with industry and service packages
There are numerous product extensions in the form of industry sector and service packages as well as comfort solutions. Whether it’s food, medicine, chemistry or mechanical engineering – the requirements of every possible sector are covered using as many standard functions as possible and a minimum of customisation. As a full-service provider, CIM also provides the suitable hardware – right from the server through to the mobile data capture device.
A Web configurator which caters to all sector requirements
“The idea of a WMS with just one click is now almost reality. Using our new configurator, you can assemble and configure the software in just a few clicks, giving you a version which is tailored to your requirements”, explains Fritz Mayr, managing director of CIM.
Visitors to transport logistic will have the opportunity to try out the configurator and select the functions they need. A free, non-binding quotation can then be sent based on these requirements.
