abat is an international SAP service provider and product supplier, who provides business process optimization and enhances it with our own solutions. The company’s focus is on the automotive and discrete production industries, logistics, sustainability management and information security. The abat was founded in 1998 as Act GmbH and is today represented throughout Germany with locations in Bremen, Munich, Oldenburg, St. Ingbert, Walldorf and Wolfsburg. For better on-site support, we also have offices in the US, Mexico, Belarus and Lithuania. Currently, we have over 800 employees who work on a wide variety of customer projects - from the orientation of IT to business processes, development and the implementation and maintenance of standard solutions. In addition, abat is the development partner of SAP SE in the SAP partnerEdge Program for Application Development. In the automotive sector, we work for major manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Daimler, MAN, Porsche, Volkswagen and Qoros. Developers at abat programmed PLUS software based on SAP to control production processes in production. For logistics companies and logistics service providers abat offers solutions for optimizing the supply chain, e.g. in intralogistics and transport management. In these areas we perform work for Brose, Bosch, Daimler, DHL, ThyssenKrupp and VS HEIBO Logistics, among others. Currently, we are the only launch partner of SAP SE for the sports software SAP Sports One. In sustainability management, abat offers holistic consulting - in sustainability reporting through our software solution ID-Report, in material flow management and in preparing for certification. Lastly, we offer consulting services in the area of information security on the topics ISO 27001 and TISAX® and thus help to protect the values of our customers and their customers.

Description

SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) is integrated into SAP Supply Chain Execution (SAP SCE) as an independent warehouse management solution. The functional scope of this solution extends far beyond the functions of the older SAP Logistics Execution System (SAP LES). abat offers your company a comprehensive portfolio of services and solutions for SAP EWM – functional and technical consulting services, feasibility studies, strategic deployment consulting, project management and project review. We can also provide SAP EWM implementation services to supplement your internal team.

In addition, abat is focused on business process improvement and optimization. Our SAP EWM business unit develops SAP add-ons to extend the rich functionality of SAP enterprise software and enhance best business practices. One example is abat’s picking by data glasses (SAP EWM Pick-by-Vision) solution. For this important add-on, we partnered to program an interface in SAP EWM to enable integration of a superior data glasses solution into Logistics IT for improved quality and accuracy in the picking process. Future planning at abat includes exploring more ways to utilize the data glasses solution for your logistics process.

When implementing SAP EWM, abat’s deployment methodology mandates an implementation as close to standard as possible in theSAP MFS (Material Flow System). Our consultants regularly update their deployment skills by supporting the SAP standardSAP EWM development as well as by participating inSAP EWM deployment testing.
